Birth Certificate Apostille
In the US, birth certificates are issued by the State Registrar and bear the name of the current State Registrar. So, if you live in California, for instance, all California-issued vital records (including birth, death, and marriage certificate) will bear the name and title of California current State Registrar.

FBI Background Check Apostille
If you don’t have a copy of an FBI background check yet, you need to contact an FBI Channeler or the FBI directly. Please let us know if you need help locating a reliable FBI Channeler. If you have the results of you FBI background check in your possession and they were done within the past 90 days you can mail your FBI report to our office for receiving an apostille. A background check does not need to be notarized.
What is an Apostille?
An apostille is a special certificate utilized to authenticate documents for use in member countries of the Hague Apostille Convention of 1961. An apostille serves as a formal validation of a notarized document issued abroad to be recognized as credible in another country. An apostille is a separate page attached to your original document to certify its authenticity. An apostille is issued by the Secretary of State office in the same state that issued a document.
Power of Attorney Apostille
An apostille on a Power of Attorney is required when one has a business or personal matter in a member-country of the Hague Apostille Convention. An apostilled Power of Attorney is a document delegating your business/personal matters to a trusted individual abroad, so that you don’t need to travel to that country yourself. For example, if you need to sell your property in Mexico but can’t travel there to deal with the sale yourself, you can appoint a family member or another individual to handle the sale on your behalf.
