Per articles of section 801(e), food items intended for export shall not be deemed to be adulterated or misbranded under the FD&C Act if they:

•    (a) match the specifications of the foreign buyer
•    (b) are not in conflict with the laws of the country where they are intended for export,
•    (c) are clearly labeled on the outside of the shipping package that it is intended for export, and
•    (d) are not sold or offered for sale on the domestic market.
